I read about a book called “The 8 Minutes in the Morning Diet” by Jorge Cruise. His philosophy is interesting saying that dieting and aerobics are not the way to go, but resistance training and portion control over your food. Monday through Friday you take 8 minutes in the morning for resistance exercises and then just stretch on Saturday. You do this in the morning because this is when your metabolism is at it’s lowest. There are multiple exercises to do and depending on which ones you choose, you will do between two and four different ones per day. The eating plan is targeted to obtaining a balanced diet, not restricting what you eat but how much you can eat. Sunday is considered your “day off” where you don’t do any of the exercises, but you do need to plan out your meals for the next week. Sounds like a simple, low stress way to lose weight and eat what you want without counting every calorie. Find out more about the morning diet at amazon.
