It’s no secret that smoking is not good for your health. Studies have shown that quitting early greatly reduces your risk of lung cancer and heart disease. These studies are more geared towards women who smoke, because they are the ones that are more greatly effected. If women quit within the first five years of the their smoking, their risks are greatly reduced than if they wait until after those five years. Smoking is even more dangerous the younger a woman is when she starts to smoke.
