Can Wine Help Reduce the Incidence of Alzheimer’s?

Red wine contains polyphenols that have been shown to block proteins from forming that build up toxic plaques that are thought to demolish brain cells. Studies have also shown that it can reduce already existing plaques that create cognitive deterioration. Pinot Noir grapes seem to have the highest concentration of the red wines. Maybe a glass of red with dinner isn’t such a bad idea!
