FDA Not Proactive About Metals In Every Day Products

I recently read an article talking about how after a year since the report of lead found in lipstick, the FDA has not done anything about it. It was also reported that some children’s face paint contained mercury and arsenic. It seem outrageous that the US does not have strict standards about this sort of thing and seems to just sit on their own research. This article has some interesting information.
