Swine Flu Affecting Health Worldwide
April 30th, 2009 by Tom Cobb
With the recent outbreak of this flu, it’s causing some to get into a frenzy. Many are saying that we can’t rely on the federal government to come to the rescue, that our own communities must take action where it’s needed. Right now it’s not considered a pandemic, but the Obama administration has declared it a public health emergency. Ways to stay healthy through this is to avoid people that are sick, wash your hands often, and avoid touching your eyes, moth and nose. If this flu were to turn into a pandemic, it would take the U.S. five months to develop a safe vaccine and even longer to create a supply according to Washington.
