It’s that time of year for many people, allergy season. Some people suffer quite badly from them and it results i them taking allergy medication which can have some serious side effects. Nasal irrigation is an effective way to flush out the nasal passages. It works very well for allergy sufferers and for those with sinus problems. All you need is water, salt and something to administer the water into your nostril like a neti pot. Mix a quarter teaspoon of salt into 8 ounces of water. Tilt your head over the sink and pour 4 ounces of the solution into one nostril and wait for the water to come out the other nostril. Then, switch nostrils and repeat the process. It is not recommended more than twice per day or irritation may occur. This works wonders flushing out all the allergens and mucus that can accumulate. This  great alternative for medications.
