I read about a book called "The 8 Minutes in the Morning Diet" by Jorge Cruise. His philosophy is interesting saying that dieting and aerobics are not the way to go, but resistance training and portion control over your food. Combining the four bad habits of smoking, drinking too much, not being active and a poor diet can age you by 12 years according to a new study. The study tracked about 5,000 adults for 20 years. Overall, 314 people were studied all of which engaged in all four of the unhealthy behaviors. 91 of them died during the study. In the healthiest group of 387 people who did not engage in the unhealthy habits, 32 died. The risky behaviors included smoking tobacco, drinking more than three alcoholic drinks per day for men and two for women, getting less than two hours of physical activity per week and eating vegetables and fruit fewer than three times a day.
